Quart de Chaume

This big wine-producing region extends the Atlantic Ocean until the Massif Central, from Nantes till Orléans. The harmony between cépages (grape variety) and soils, where variety combines itself with unity, is particularly more interesting as some of the big cépages from the region found their origine in Val de Loire.

The big originality from these wines results from the fact that they mostly come from an unique cépage: Chenin, Cabernet and Gamay in Anjou, Saumur and Touraine ; Sauvignon and Pinot noir in Touraine and in the Centre ; Grolleau, Pinot Meunier also…
