It is a combination of wines put on the side (vins de reserve), made out of 60 % of Pinot noir. A unique mix of balanced winy taste. The vintage remains constant in its quality, year after year, thanks to a precious collection of ‘vins de réserve’ magnums made out of ‘grand’ and first ‘cru’, with cork and kept from 5 to 10 years on. The Bollinger "Spéciale Cuvée" makes every moment into a unique experience. It is an archetype of the Bollinger style.

A ready-to-drink Champagne
As a starter, with salmon blinis or with mini starters in protective glasses. You can rely on this Champagne for party meals...
Cépage : 60 % of Pinot Noir, 25% of Chardonnay and 15% of Pinot Meunier
Vinification : it is a unique method in Champagne: the Bollinger house keeps its reserved wines in magnums for 5 to 12 years in their cellar. Then they equally add basic wines from their 2 last grape pickings. The wine flourishes for 3 more years in the cellar. The special ‘cuvée’ is light on sugar level (7 to 9 grames of sugar per litre).
Elevage : The champagne is matured in oak barrels or stainless steel tanks according to the harvest.
