The ott house...a family passion on 4 generations.
Marcel Ott created the domain in 1896. The family adventure was built with patience and work, in the Cavalaire region then in Var region (South of France ).
Le Château de Selle was bought in 1912 ; le Clos Mireille was bought in 1936 ; le Château Romasson joined the Ott House in 1956. Nowadays, the Ott House is managed by Christian and Jean-François Ott.
Le Château de Selle has 140 ha in Cotes de provence. Its grape varieties, - Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenade and Cinsault-, produce a rosé classified Grand cru and a very complex and elegant red wine.
Le clos Mireille has 170 ha with Sémillon, Rolle, Grenache, Cinsault and Syrah grapes make a fruity and aromatic rosé and a red wine which owned all the qualities of a great Bandol.
From working the lands to vinification, the house principles are strict and demanding. From one generation to the other, nature respect is also what they work for. Thanks to these exceptional qualities, wines from Ott Domain have an international fame.
