Champagne Gosset

The Gosset Champagne House, the oldest Champagne name, has produced wines of Champagne since 1584. Pierre Gosset, alderman of Aÿ and wine-grower, was its founder.

During all this time, the family know-how in making Champagne has always been applied. For certain cuvées, part of the wine-making process still takes place in wooden vats. Champagnes improve in their cellars during several years before being sold. Moreover, the remuage (turning of the bottles) and the removal of the sediments are carried out by hand according to the finest tradition of the House Gosset.

Gosset blends are made from the best growths of the Marne (Premier and Grand Crus) and only the first pressings are used. These Champagnes distinguish themselves by their naturally fruity aromas preserved thanks to the absence of malolactic fermentation which also ensures that Gosset Champagnes keep better.
