Champagne Henriot
Founded in 1808 in Reims, the House of Henriot is first and foremost a family business. Seven generations have been involved in the making of a Champagne which corresponds to their idea of perfection. This family is one of the oldest families of the region, their ancestors, wine and wool merchants, settling in Champagne in 1550.
The two grapes selected by the House of Henriot are of the two finest varieties in Champagne: Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. The Grands Crus vineyards used by Henriot are located in the Côte des Blancs, the Montagne de Reims and the Marne Valley and cover 28 hectares.
Champagne Henriot ages slowly for at least 3 years in quiet and dark Gallo-Roman crayères (ancient chalk pits), in Reims. This process gives birth to the unique Champagne Henriot cuvées, famed for their personality, elegance and exquisite lightness.
