Champagne Pierre Moncuit
Generation after generation, the Moncuit family has produced Champagnes of the highest quality, with a deep respect for the Champagne tradition.
Founded by Pierre Moncuit and taken over by his daughter Nicole and his son Yves in 1977, the family estate covers 20 hectares.
All of their delicate wines are produced from their vines. Their unique grape variety, Chardonnay, grow exclusively in the area classified Grand Cru around the highest-rated village of Mesnil-sur-Oger, in the Côte des Blancs. This place is famous for the minerality, the purity and the characteristics of its terroir.
The Moncuit Champagne have the world-renowned appellation Grand Cru Blanc de Blancs. Nicole Montcuit, following the advice and the savoir faire taught by her father, takes care of every step of the vinification herself. All their Champagnes are made entirely from a single-year’s harvest and not from a blend with an older “reserve” wine. These steely and crisp Blanc de Blancs can be cellared several years before being tasted. They will then better reveal their minerality and freshness.
