Champagne Ruinart

Fulfilling the dream of his uncle, the Benedictine monk Dom Thierry Ruinart, Nicolas Ruinart founded the Champagne House of the same name in 1729. Throughout the centuries, the priority of the House of Ruinart, pioneer in the Champagne trade, has been the pursuit of perfection based on fundamental values such as authenticity, quality and refinement.

Their wines undergo a slow ageing process, from 3 to 12 years depending on the cuvées, in crayères (ancient chalk pits), the only ones to be classified as a historic monument. The depth of the pits and the chalk allow an ageing process under perfect conditions which results in a mousse of incomparable quality.

Instantly recognisable, the Ruinart bottle distinguishes itself thanks to its elegant and unique design. To celebrate the success of its name, the House has paid tribute to its initiator in 1959 with the prestigious Dom Ruinart vintage.

Owned by LVMH, the House of Ruinart produces beautifully balanced, mellow and well-rounded Champagnes, a style and elegance to which the radiant dominance of Chardonnay contributes greatly.
