The 51 ha of Domaine Sarda-Malet are situated just south of Perpignan and extend over gentle slopes qualifying for both the Côtes du Roussillon and Rivesaltes appellations. Facing South South-West, the vineyard benefits from perfect geographic and climatic conditions.

Carignan, Muscat, Grenache and Macabeo are the oldest varieties of the estate and were planted more than 60 years ago. Mourvèdre, Shiraz, Roussanne, Marsanne, Malvoisie and Viognier were added in 1978. Clay limestone soils give the wines a great minerality.

Today, Jérôme Malet, the 3rd generation, like his father and grandfather, respects traditional viticultural techniques: use of ploughs forged by local blacksmiths, no excessive spaying, no herbicide, manual harvests, vinification with natural yeasts and bottled without fining or filtering. Yields never exceed 35 hl/ha and fall even to 15 hl/ha for the white Roussanne and Marsanne. Their wines are natural and express the terroir in the concentration of their aromas and their texture.
