Jacky Blot, the actual owner, had an incredible chance to find and to take over in 2002 the farming of the « Domaine de la Butte ». This rare gem of 14 hectares is essentially planted on Cabernet Franc and located in one of the most beautiful slopes of Bourgueil in the Loire region.

To this tremendous potential, Jacky Blot has added agricultural methods that respect the environment, permiting the grapes to reveal all their qualities.
The harvest is manual, the fermentation is made in concrete and wood vats, and the ageing is realised in a cellar dug into the rock… Jacky Blot has won his gamble.
He produces unique wines, representative of the terroir they come from, so different from the thirst-quenching wines typical of the Loire region.
