The estate of « Les Pothiers », located at the beginning of Val de Loire, is made of 7 hectares of Gamay with a small part of Chardonnay.
The vineyard of Denise, Romain and George Paire clearly fits into the scheme of the environmental protection.
“Integrated Pest Management Agriculture” since 1970, “Terra Vitis” certification since 2001 ; nowadays the vineyard continues its approach by producing “Natural Wines”.
Withdrawal of weedkiller, use of compost made from their livestock farming ; at the vineyard of « Les Pothiers », we aim to produce a wine which is the exact reflect of the grapes it comes from. And this is a success…
You will find here red and « rosé » wines of great quality, that receive both « AOC Côte Roannaise » and « Terra Vitis » certification.
