Round and complex The hacienda that produces this rum is using the technique of the solera, which consist in making the rum mature in barrels arranged on 4 different levels. The rum will go from level to level during its ageing years. Then the rum is stored for a long time in a large oak cask coming from the french region Limousin. Thanks to its successive ageings this rum is very complex.
Nice bold amber color; Rich and fruity primary aroma, leading to a secondary aroma with prune and vanilla notes. A full-bodied entry leads to a smoothest, well melted body with a nice delicacy. The finish is long, very sweet, with a wide variety of flavours.
