Armagnac LAUBADE
Château de Laubade, - the largest estate of the appellation-, is located in the heart of the Bas-Armagnac region where the greatest Armagnac are given. Four white grape varietals (Ugni Blanc, Folle Blanche, Colombard and Baco) are cultivated on this 107 ha estate. Each variety gives the Armagnac its own way. Each of them has its authentic and refined blend in which complexes ‘eau-de-vie’ are produced.
Vintages are made with the grape harvest of one year. Each vintage is unique and owns its peculiarity and personality. They slowly age in the huge cellar of Château Laubade, in 400 liters’ casks in which they gain body, flavor and a rich golden brown color. These Armagnac are bottled in order and packaged in a beautiful wooden gift box. Château de Laubade holds stocks of single vintage Armagnac going back to the 1880s.
