The only supplier of Queen Elisabeth II since 1962, Thomas Hine & Co produces only cognacs of VSOP quality and above.

The House of Hine stands on the banks of the River Charente, in Jarnac, France. It was founded in 1817 by Thomas Hine. He left his home in Dorset, England, to seek his fortune in France. He started to work for the House Delamain in 1791 before marrying 6 years later the daughter of his associate and forward employer.

Ambitious, he developped his own business making them famous thanks to a unique method still used today. Casks of vintaged cognacs of Grande Champagne, also known as « Early Landed » are sent to Bristol where they can have exceptional ageing conditions. Still today, the House Thomas Hine & Co owns an important collection of vintages, many dating from the beginning of the last century.

Hine Cognacs enjoy a longer ageing as Hine prefers to set its own standards which include letting the cognac mature in cask for many years more than the time required by French law. These fine cognacs which are among the best of the Charente region reveal great finesse, strength and wonderful aromas such as spices and vanilla.
