The Léopold Gourmel House was founded in the 1960’s by Olivier Blanc who is still is its only owner. Léopold Gourmel Cognacs are unique. Each step of the production has been studied with a more contemporary approach in order to offer fresher, more powerful and aromatic Cognacs.

Fruity and strong wines, Premiers Crus Fins Bois, are strictly selected according to their aromatic quality. The distillation of these wines extracts and concentrates a supple, tasty and ‘fat’ eau-de-vie which ages in oak cask with a fine grain. Léopold Gourmel Cognacs are complex, fresh and have a delicious and persistent finish.

Each vintage is certified and is never blended.

Each cuvée has a particular name referring to its aromas and no additive is added. It is now possible to easily choose a Cognac after its flavours and no longer after its label or the design of its bottle.
