Cognac PAUL GIRAUD
Winegrowers across generations, since 1650, the Giraud family owns 32 ha of vineyards in the heart of the Grande Champagne region, in the villages of Bouteville and St Même-les-Carrières.They make Cognac.
Still today, their traditional methods of working lead them to harvest by hand in order to preserve the quality of the grapes and to use home-made distillation processes.
From the grape varieties of the Charentes region, they produce eaux-de-vie well-known for the delicacy of their taste and their bouquet. These eaux-de-vie improve with time tanks to a long aging (up to 50 years) in oak barrels from the forest of the Limousin in very humid cellars. Their stock of very old Cognacs allow them to provide excellent quality as the time goes by.
