The Brana estate is located in the Atlantic Pyrenees, in the heart of the Pays Basque and faces the Col de Roncevaux. The 22 ha of the wine-growing estate is laid out in narrow terraces on the slopes of the Arradoy mountain and benefits from the optimal amount of sun thanks to a good south/south-west facing position.

The Brana family produces AOC Irouléguy wines as well as home-made fruit liqueurs. The Irouléguy white wine, which nearly disappeared in the fifties, is produced from two grape varieties, Petit Courbu and Gros-Manseng whereas the Irouléguy red wine is produced from Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Tannat. The harvest is done entirely by hand and every grape variety of every plot of land is vinified separately before the blending.

Concerning their fruit liqueurs, Williams pears, plums, raspberries and marc d’Irouléguy are slowly transformed in copper stills into fine and subtle liqueurs. Fruit liqueurs take all their colours and flavours exclusively from the fruits. No other colourings, artificial flavours or preservatives are used, from which follows the exceptional quality of their products.
