The distillery is located in the Aragua valley, north of Venezuela. That’s where sugar cane grows and rum matures. It is said that the spring is eternal in this valley, with temperatures varying from 8°C for the coldest nights to 40°C for the warmest periods. This range of temperature gives to those rums their great sugar concentration as well as their very sweet finish.

Santa Teresa is one of the only distilleries to use the technique of the « solera » usually used for the Xeres wines maturation.Nowadays, the distillery employs almost 240 persons for production and bottling and 100 persons worldwide to sel lits products.
