Domaine Laporte is located between Perpignan and Canet Plage, near the Via Domitia, a Roman road built approximately in 116 b.c. It goes all the way from the Rhone river to the Pyrennees linking France, Italy and Spain. This 40 ha estate has belonged to the Laportes since the 1960’s and has been run for the last 20 years by Raymond Laporte and his wife. Sharing the same love of fine wine, they improve the quality of their blendings by planting Syrah, Merlot, Mourvèdre and Muscat.

Their vines enjoy a warm and dry climate as well as an excellent geographical situation (terraces of pebbles and alluvium from the Têt River). Reasoned culture and ploughing lead to the harvest of natural grapes of outstanding quality.

Domaine Laporte vin doux naturel and its dry white wines are fresh and elegant. Their labels remind us the terroir and the Roman past of the region with Latin-sounding names of cuvées.
