Produced in Soctland, Highlands, this single malt belongs to the Classic Malts collection launched in 1988 by Distillers Company Ltd. Built in a glen in 1897 and originally named Strathspey Distillery, Dalwhinnie is the highest distillery in Scotland (326 m/1,073 feet above sea level).

Dalwhinnie uses worm tubs to cool the fresh spirit from the still. Its nose presents a mellow, subtle and flowery character while developing into malty and smokey tones. Old gold, this whisky is very soft and smooth with aromas of vanilla and fruits (apple and pear) before a finish characterized by notes of mead and beeswax.

With its spicy, grassy and creamy flavours, Dalwhinnie can be perfectly coupled with a crème brûlée.
