Whisky GLEN MORAY
Situated in the town of Elgin, North of Speyside, the Glen Moray distillery came into service in 1897. The surrounding area, the Laich Moray, is long renowned for the quality of its barley and is called the “Granary of Scotland”.
After the second World War, big investments are made, permiting the production capacity of the distillery to be multiplied, thanks to its 4 stills.
Continuity is the main asset of the distillery, as the last 2 directors stayed respectively for 44 and 47 years in Glen Moray ! Besides, this is one of the last independant companies in Scottish whisky production.
