Whisky LABROT ET GRAHAM
Made with the best Labrot & Graham barrels of whiskey, Woodford Reserve is produced in the oldest bourbon distillery of Kentucky, a National Historic Landmark. In 1812, its founder, Elijah Pepper, selected the best possible place to produce bourbon: the Bluegrass Region. The succession of hot summers and cold winters confer a greater aromatic complexity. In 1878, James Graham and Léopold Labrot took over the company without modifying the processes used by Pepper.
Woodford Reserve distinguishes itself from other bourbons thanks to its elaboration method: a slow fermentation in cypress vats, copper pot stills (from Scotland) and a triple distillation (like in Ireland). The final point is the maturation which is done in toasted barrels made of hand-selected white oak and lasts at least 4 to 5 years.
Woodford Reserve delights the sight with its rich amber colour, the nose with its finesse and delicacy, and the palate with its notes of pepper, red fruits and cinnamon.
