«For the neophyte » The last maturation of this whisky is made in barrels where Chenin wine has been aged. This original method, without any equivalence in the rest of Scotland, gives superb results. The overall elegance of this malt makes it very accessible to neophyte whiskydrinkers, offering them a subtle first taste of the Speyside production.

Tasting : Eye : Very pale colour that displays glints of green. Fat and oily in appearance. Nose : This fruity and smooth whisky offers a great complexity of aromas. The strong vanilla fragrance that dominates the banana and citrus fruits background is superseded by driest notes of bread and butter, followed by heather and honey aromas. Palate : A peppery, lightly smoked palate. The delicately spicy structure reveals a subtle hint of mint.
