The 26 hectares vineyard of La Cotelleraie, located in Saint Nicolas de Bourgueil appellation, has belonged to the Vallée family for several generations. The vineyard is mainly planted in Cabernet Franc and is farmed with Integrated Pest Management Agriculture since 1999 in order to emphazise all the quality of the grape. Nowadays, Gerald Vallée has the strong desire to combine the use of traditions inherited from his parents and grand-parents who were wine-growers, with the research of new methods and new plants, in order to perfect his wines. From vintage to vintage, thanks to the work of the actual wine-grower and his father Claude, the wines of the Cotelleraie vineyard, improves in expression, elegance and prestige.
